EXIO is an advanced and complete solution, including printer, display, keypad and GSM/GPRS module - able to read and process two-dimensional (2d) symbologies such as Data Matrix from mobile phone displays as well printed one-dimensional (1d) barcodes.

Thanks to a high-speed Digital Signal Processor (DSP) and a high-resolution camera, EXIO automatically recognizes 2d codes such as Data Matrix, sent as MMS (Multimedia Message Service), EMS (Enhanced Message Service) or Picture Message (Smart Message) to any compatible mobile phone.

EXIO has been designed for various direct marketing applications such as mobile ticketing, mobile couponing and advertising and is therefore the ideal off-the-shelf solution for innovative application areas such as M-Commerce, 1-to-1-communication, entertainment and retail trade.
